Sticky surface of stems / 林檎のヘタのベタベタ

It was fine weather today. After covering Isaac's Apple with tissues we dragged out it to outside for sanding.
今日は天気がよいのでアイザックの林檎をティッシュ(FRP)で皮膜後、研磨のため外に引きずり出した。

Before 9pm I drove to buy the material to solve the problem of the stems. 

午後9時前に林檎のヘタの問題を解消するため材料を買いにホームセンターへ向かう

Bought the liquid rubber for the roof.

屋根用の液体ゴムを購入 

As the surface of rubber stems of the apple which we casted with molding is sticky, I bought the liquid rubber to paint on the surface of it. I hope this solve the problems.

成形したゴム製の林檎のヘタの表面のベタベタが取れないので、表面に塗るため屋根塗装用の液体ゴムを購入した。この方法が問題を解決するといいのだが。 

Working alone / １人で仕事

Thomas finished his job for sculpting apples. Seamus is off work, Peter and Sid were also working somewhere for other clients. As It was rain weather also today, I kept sanding inside the factory alone.

トーマスは彼の林檎の彫刻仕事を終え、シェイマスは休業、ピーターとシドは他のクライアントのためにどこかで働いていた。今日も雨なので、自分は工場内で１人で研磨作業。

2、3時間でできた削り粉

As I finished today’s task, I left the factory earlier than usual. As I have MOT test of my car on this Saturday, I drove to the garage where my friend works. 

今日のすべき仕事を終えたので、工場を通常より早く発った。車検が土曜にあるので、友達が働く車の修理工場へ行った。 

After he fixed a few problems of my car, he gave me a brand new overall. Though he said it was the one he got from somebody, I am so delighted. It’s a proper working clothes which I have never had. I will wear it from tomorrow to work for Five Apples. Thank you so much Kevin!

彼が車のいくつかの問題を修理した後、新品のつなぎをくれた。誰かからもらったものらしいが、とてもありがたい。今まで持ったことない、いわゆるちゃんとした作業着だ。五個の林檎の仕事のために明日から着よう。どうもありがとうケビン！

A war with rain / 雨との戦い

It was rain wether today unfortunately.
今日は生憎雨

If we get rain wether, we cannot do sanding job inside the factory while Seamus is painting. If so, the painting surface of the apple will get the sanding dust.

雨が降ると、シェイマスが林檎を塗装している間は工場内で研磨作業ができない。削り粉が林檎の塗装面に付着するからである

As soon as it stopped raining, we just dragged out the Isaac Apple and sanded it.

雨が止まるや否や、アイザックの林檎を引きずり出して、急いで研磨

We have no chance to keep sanding it when it started raining again. 

再度雨で研磨中断。

Seamus started painting the William's Apple
シェイマスがウィリアムの林檎の塗装開始 

After Seamus finished his work at 5pm, Thomas and I have been getting intermittent rain still. After a while we decided to cover the William's Apple with paper to prevent from the sanding dust. And then we started sanding Isaac's Apple inside the factory.

シェイマスが定時の5時で仕事を終えた後も、トーマスと自分は断続的な雨と格闘していた。しばらくして、ウィリアムの林檎を研磨粉から守るため紙で覆い、アイザックの林檎を工場内で研磨することにした。

Thomas and I worked until 9pm for12 hours shift. As Thomas will work to complete stems in his studio, today was his last day for sculpting apples. Thank you so much Thomas Anderson ! I couldn't make this project without your help!

結局トーマスと自分は夜9時まで12時間働いた。トーマスは自分のスタジオで林檎のヘタを完成させるので、今日が彼の最後の林檎の彫刻作業最終日。本当にありがとうトーマス・アンダーソン！心から、君の助けなしでこのプロジェクトは成立できなかったと思う！

13 hours shift also on bank holiday / 休日も13時間労働

To finish sanding William's Apple for Seamus's painting. I started working from 6 am.
シェイマスが塗装を始められるようにウィリアムの林檎の研磨を終らせるため、朝6時に出勤。

As I couldnot move the apple alone, I towed the apple with my car.
自分１人で林檎を動かせなかったので、車でけん引

After my sanding over 2 hours Seamus arrived. And He started painting the apple.

二時間ぶっ続けで研磨後、シェイマス到着して、塗装開始

Nevertheless my huge effort, It was obvious the apple needed more stopper. Because Seamus cannot work for his painting job any more today, he went home. I was so disappointed that my effort didn't work.

早朝出勤の自分努力も虚しく、林檎にもっと目止め剤が必要なのは明らかだった。 シェイマスがこれ以上する仕事は今日ないので、家に帰宅。努力の意味がなかったことに、意気消沈。

We have no time to break. I started stoppering and sanding the apple again.
休む間もなくポリパテと研磨再開。

Thomas is also satisfied with the surface at this time.

トーマスも今回は満足

The most complicated apple ever, we got the problem to separate the Apple and bottom cover in the morning time. The bottom covers stucked and we could not get them out. Thomas and I got panic. After spending half day to sort out the problem, sculpting Isaac's Apple is under control now.

最も厄介な林檎。林檎から底カバーを取り外せなくなる問題に陥った。自分もトーマスも一時パニックになったが、半日かけて問題を解決し、ようやくアイザックの林檎の彫刻プロセスがアンダーコントロール

Working also on Sunday / 日曜も仕事

I didn't even notice I have stopper on my face.
顔にポリパテがついていることにも気づかない自分。
